Arabic Text of Al Quran 9:31 : 
 
ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَـٰنَهُمْ أَرْبَابًا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْمَسِيحَ ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوٓا۟ إِلَـٰهًا وَٰحِدًا ۖ لَّآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ 
 
Transliteration : 
 
Ittakhathoo ahbarahumwaruhbanahum arbaban min dooni Allahi walmaseehaibna maryama wama omiroo illa liyaAAbudoo ilahanwahidan la ilaha illa huwa subhanahuAAamma yushrikoon 
 
English Translation by Marmaduke Pickthall : 
 
They have taken as lords beside Allah their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah son of Mary, when they were bidden to worship only One Allah. There is no Allah save Him. Be He Glorified from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! 
 
The Terms Ahbaarahum (Their Scholars) , wa Ruhbaanahum (And Their Monks), wal Maseehab na Maryama (And Masih Son of Mary) STARTS with "Fat-ha" so they are the objects of the Verb "Took" ittakhadhū (They have Taken) 
 
Taken as what ? 
 
Taken - as Lords (arbāban) Besides Allah (min dūnillahi) 
 
The phrase Besides God - "Min Dunil-lahi" ends with "Kasra" 
 
The meaning of this verse is : 
 
They (Nazoreans/Christians) have taken their Scholars, Their Monks and Christ Son of Mary as their Lords besides God. 
 
Our humble requests to the Non Arab/Arab Christians is to study the Quranic Arabic properly before they propagate such accusations against God.

Petra or Makkah?

The Pseudo-historians mainly from the Christian denomination claim that the original Qiblah was in Petra hence the Prophet Muhammed was born and raised in Petra and Ka'bah was in Petra, Makkah in the Quran is simply a spelling error and supposed to say Bakkah which according to them means a Valley of Weeping where people died, to refer to the valley of Petra, they cunningly mix the word Bakkah with the word Baca used in their Bible which talks about a valley of weeping called Baca, however, from a sole Quranic view, there is no evidence to support this claim.
